Obverse: the obverse of this coin depicts an interpretation of the painting "Galarina" (1944-1945). The name of the country of origin 'ESPANA' is embossed on the left-hand side.
Reverse: the reverse side of the coin depicts the central scene of the oil painting 'Tristán e Isolde' (1944), a medieval legend that refers to the story of two lovers whose impossible love attracted the attention of Dali.
About the coin: this collection, dedicated to the great artist Salvador Dali (1904-1989), is the second edition of the series 'Painters of Spain', which pays tribute to the greatest Spanish artists throughout history.
