Obverse: The center of the coin depicts St. Peter the Martyr next to him on the left side of the coin and the inscription "20 EURO". The name of the country "CITTA DEL VATICANO" (Vatican City) is engraved in a semicircle at the top of the coin. The mintmark, the letter "R", is engraved on the right-hand side of the coin.
Reverse: In the middle is the coat of arms and the keys on the sides on which the angels sit and hold the pope's hat. The words "FRANCISCS PP." Are engraved at the top. (French), the year of minting "ANNO MMXXI" (2021) is engraved on both sides, and the words "MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO" are engraved on the bottom.
