UAB “Florinus” (Company, we), being one of the largest distributors of investment precious metals in the Baltic States, understands the importance of personal data protection and respects every person’s right to the protection of their personal data and its responsible processing; therefore, when processing Your personal data, it responsibly follows the applicable data protection laws, including, among others, the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. What personal data do we process, for what purposes, and on what legal bases?

For the purposes of creating and administering an account on www.florinus.lt

When you register on our Website, for the purposes of account creation and administration, we process Your first name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, customer type, country, city, region, postal code, and address.

For this purpose, we process Your personal data on the basis of the necessity to conclude and perform a contract with You (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

For the purposes of carrying out e-commerce

When you order goods in our online store, we process personal data related to Your purchase: purchased item, payment information (price, payment method, etc.), delivery information, comments to the Company, comments to the courier. For the purposes of recording telephone calls

In cases where you communicate with the Company by phone using the Company’s phone numbers on which calls are recorded (you are informed about call recording at the beginning of each call), we process Your phone number, voice recording, information provided during the call, date and time of the call.

For this purpose, we process Your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring proper customer service and the quality of services provided by us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

For the purposes of carrying out direct marketing

For direct marketing purposes (sending you newsletters, SMS messages, making phone calls), we process Your first name, surname, e-mail address, and phone number, taking into account the communication method chosen by You.

For this purpose, we process Your personal data on the basis of Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

For the purposes of selecting candidates for job positions and interns

In order to properly carry out candidate selection, we may process personal data that You provide when seeking employment at the Company or that we lawfully receive from other persons (e.g., CV data portals) in order to assess the suitability of Your candidacy (personal information: desired position, first name, surname, date of birth, address, city, e-mail, telephone No.; education: educational institution, specialty; work experience: company, duration of employment (from-to), position, nature of work; other information: information on whether you have a driver’s license, Your preferences and requirements for future work, desired salary, data provided in the CV, cover letter or other documents when applying for a position; information and recommendations regarding Your evaluation as a candidate).

In order to assess the suitability of Your candidacy for work, we may contact Your former employers in order to obtain recommendations. We may contact Your current employers for this purpose only with Your consent.

When carrying out the selection of candidates wishing to undertake an internship at the Company, we will process personal data that You provide when filling in the intern questionnaire on our Website, sending them by e-mail or arriving in person at our branches (first name, surname, address, phone number, e-mail address, educational institution, future specialty, year, studies, desired workplace, position in which You wish to undertake the internship, internship start date, internship duration, additional experience, information on why You would like to undertake the internship at the Company, as well as other personal data submitted together with the CV).

For this purpose, we process Your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in selecting suitable candidates and interns for open positions in the Company (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

In the event that Your candidacy is not selected, we will delete and destroy all of Your personal data processed or previously processed for selection purposes after the end of the selection process in which You participate, unless You clearly express in writing Your consent that the Company store Your personal data (CV and other information provided by You during participation in the selection process) in order to offer You a job or internship position in the future. In such case, we will store Your personal data for no longer than 2 (two) years after the end of the selection process or until You withdraw Your consent.

2. To whom may we disclose Your personal data?

3. How long do we retain Your data?
