Obverse: The obverse features a portrait of King Jayavarman VII (1162–1201). On the left side, the nominal value is indicated as 3000 riels. At the bottom, the inscription "Kingdom of Cambodia" is engraved, and on the left side, the minting year - 2008.
Reverse: In the center of the coin, against a golden background, there is a holographic image of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Myanmar. The Shwedagon Pagoda, also known as the Great Dagon Pagoda or Golden Pagoda, is a 99-meter gilded tower located in Yangon, Myanmar. The pagoda stands to the west of Kandawgyi Lake, on Singuttara Hill, thus dominating the city skyline. It is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar, housing relics of four past Buddhas: the staff of Kakusandha, the water filter of Konagamana, a piece of Kassapa's garment, and eight hairs from the historical Buddha Gautama.
