Reverse: The reverse depicts a stylised horse’s head composed of numerous circular dots of different sizes. This „Dot Art“ technique creates an impressive interplay of light and a three-dimensional effect that changes depending on the angle at which the coin is viewed. The design is dedicated to 2026 – the Year of the Horse according to the Chinese lunar calendar.

The Horse is the seventh of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac and traditionally symbolises energy, freedom, independence, determination and success.
The coin is struck from .999 fine gold, weighs 1/25 troy ounce (1.24 g) and has a diameter of 13 mm. Its face value is 5 Niue dollars. The coin features a „Proof-like“ finish. The limited mintage is only 1,000 pieces.
