The year of foundation of the fortress and the year of issue of the coin '1748-1998' are also indicated.
Reverse: the reverse shows stylised ornaments in the centre. The name of the country 'SUOMI FINLAND' and the year of issue '1998' are embossed on the left-hand side of the coin and the denomination '100 MK' on the right-hand side.
