Obverse: The center shows the denomination “100”, surrounded by the coats of arms of the Austrian federal states. The inscription “REPUBLIK OESTERREICH HUNDERT SCHILLING” appears along with the dates “1477 1977”, commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Hall Mint.
Reverse: A knight in full armor on an armored horse facing right is depicted. Four shields surround the figure, with two additional shields below the circular design. The legend reads “EVROPA CENT V MON CIV HAL TIR H A CELEBRAT 1977”.
