Obverse: the coin depicts Queen Elizabeth II in the centre of the obverse. The coin is also embossed with the words 'ELIZABETH II', the country of origin 'AUSTRALIA', the year of issue '2000', the denomination '5 DOLLARS' and the designer's initials 'RDM'.
Reverse: the coin features an echidna in the centre of the reverse and the colour logo of the Olympic Games at the bottom.
