Obverse: the reverse of the coin depicts the Auberge de Castille, a Baroque porch originally designed for St. The Auberge was designed for the Order of St John of Jerusalem in Valletta, Malta. The name of the building is embossed in a semicircle on the left and the denomination of the coin: '10 euro' and the twelve stars of the European Union on the right.
Reverse: The coin features the Maltese coat of arms on the reverse, the name of the country at the top and the year of minting - 2008 - at the bottom.
