Obverse: The center of the obverse features a historic 16th-century symbol of the Knight, closely resembling the drawing of the Knight published in one of the copies of the Lithuanian Statute. Surrounding the Knight is a damask background of plant origin. In the upper part of the coin, in a semicircle, is the inscription "LIETUVA," and at the bottom, "50 LITŲ." Between them is the emblem of the state enterprise "Lithuanian Mint" and the year "2004."
Reverse: The reverse repeats the damask background. In the center is the Chancellor of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Voivode of Vilnius, Albertas Goštautas, presenting the Lithuanian Statute to Grand Duke Sigismund the Old. At the top of the coin are the Gediminas Columns, and at the bottom is A. Goštautas' coat of arms. The coin is surrounded by the inscription "FOR THE LITHUANIAN STATUTE 475."
Edge: The edge of the coin features the inscription "BE THE SLAVES OF JUSTICE SO THAT WE MAY ENJOY FREEDOM" (a free interpretation of the dedication by the Chancellor of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Leonas Sapiega, based on Cicero).
