Obverse: the obverse of the coin depicts an angel painted by Leonardo Da Vinci (from the figure "The Baptism of Christ"). The top half of the coin features the name of the country, the year, and the name of the author, "SAN MARINO 1519 LEONARDO 2019", at the bottom, the engraved "R", which is the mintmark of the Italian Mint. Twelve stars of the European Union on the outside of the coin.
Reverse: Ordinary € 2 denomination.
Edge: A number "2" is embossed on the edge of the coin and a star that is repeated six times, the second element being inverted.
About the Coin: this is the 2019 San Marino 2 € BU commemorative coin dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the death of the most famous Italian Renaissance painter, architect, sculptor, engineer, inventor and philosopher Leonardo Da Vinci.
