Obverse: the obverse of the coin features a symbol of the Mexican coat of arms - an eagle squatting on a cactus and cheering on a snake. The inscription "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS" (eng. Unated states of Mexico) is engraved in a semicircle on the top and the year of mintage is on the right.
Reverse: the reverse of the coin shows the Aztec calendar "Piedra del Sol" (eng. Stone of the Sun) with the inscription "VEINTE PESOS" (Eng. 20 pesos) and the amount of pure gold in the coin "* 15 Gr. ORO PURO *".
Edge: minted words "INDEPENDENCIA Y LIBERTAD".
About the coin: Mexican gold is a unique way to invest in precious metals because of their low circulation and durability of gold, as Mexican gold pesos have copper. Pesos was the purest gold coin produced in the 20th century.
