Around the symbol of the rose, the anniversary year and the legend "1948 - 2018 H ΩΣΗ ΔΩΔΕΚΑΝΗΣΟΥ ΜΕ ΤΗΝ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ" (eng. 1948-21018 Dodekanese Union with Greece), as well as mint and engraver signs. The name of the state in the Greek language "ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ" (eng. Greek) is depicted at the bottom of the coin.
