Obverse: In the center of the coin depicts the baroque St. Michael Church, this church is the German city of Hamburg and all federal land symbol. Coins outer ring superimposed twelve stars of the European Union, coins engraved in the top of the coin mintage year 2008, while the bottom of the engraved name of the state of German language "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND". Each coin on the top right, respectively, are the carved letters in designates the mint where the coin was minted at the Mint.
Reverse: Regular 2 euro denomination number.
