Obverse: The obverse of the coin depicts the figures and buildings of people - these are symbolically portrayed citizens and city representations, where the security of society is most secure. The coin also features a simplified police coat of arms and a short PSP. Anniversary anniversary of the founding of the police in 1891 - 2017 SEGURANĄA PÚBLICA (Public Security), on the right hand side of the coin is the name of the state PORTUGAL. The coin also contains three words DIREITOS, LIBERDADES and WARRANTY - Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees.

Reverse: Regular 2€ denomination number.

About the coin: The coin is intended to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Portuguese police and ensure public safety.
