Obverse: center of the coin depicts a cork oak, after its branches, on the left hand side, the Portuguese coat of arms. On the right side a stylized, three lines superimposed state name PORTUGAL. Along the bottom edge of the coin coins engraved designs the artist's signature (I. Vilar), the coin mintage year (2007) and the mintmark (INCM).
Reverse: regular € 2 denomination number.
