Around the engraved inscription "GUARDIA SVIZZERA PONTIFICIA" on both sides of the Guard carved jubilee year 1506 - 2006. The coin at the bottom of the state name "CITTÀ DEL VATICANO". The outer circle of the coin set out in 12 European Union stars.
