Reverse: Depicts the Austrian National Bank building, above a two-line inscription OESTERREICHISCHE NATIONALBANK, with the dates 1816–1966 below.
About the coin: A 1966 silver commemorative 50 Schilling coin, issued for the 150th anniversary of the Austrian National Bank. Struck in .900 fine silver, weight 20 g, diameter 33.5 mm. The edge bears the inscription FUENFZIG SCHILLING. Designed by renowned Austrian engraver Edwin Grienauer. Alongside the large circulation mintage, a scarce proof version of only 17,400 pieces was also released.
